Howdy Everyone!
This morning I had
out-patient surgery to remove the cyst in my right ovary.
So far, so good.
I was down at
McLaren Oakland before 6:00 am this morning.
The last time I have
any memory of was about 7:20 am until I woke back up from anesthesia around
9:20 am.
Around 10:00 am,
they gave me two Norcos.
I was back home and
to sleep around 11:45 am.
Mom picked up my
prescription for Norcos.
I've got three small
incisions in my left side.
I'm thirsty as all
get out and had the worst case of cot mouth ever around 4:30 pm.
I'm sore. No punches
to the abdominal area please! Nothing
more than that.
I can drive, as long
as I'm not taking the Norcos.
No workouts or
lifting over twenty pounds until after my follow up visit in two weeks.
This is actually
pretty cool.
A dramatic
difference from fourteen years ago.
Surgery isn't
fun. Much easier to handle this time.
As far as the
workouts go, I do still do them as
previously described. I can do 100
squats in around 5:30 now with the total workout only taking about twenty-four
minutes.
I'm losing
inches. (My bras have never fit
better! On most of them, I could use
another whole row of eyes.) All the
while I still weigh around 234 pounds.
This is the part I still don't get.
I'm going to keep working on it.
It's nice to now be
able to do a work out and have more energy to do additional physical
activities.
The head is getting
clearer. WONDERFUL!
I'm continuing to
work on getting unnecessary stress out of my life.
God's making the
way.
For those of you who
knew about the surgery in advance, thank you for your prayers. They are appreciated.
I'm continuing to
work forward towards being the Malinda God wants me to be.
If I can make the
changes I need too, you can too. You are
just as important to God as I am any day.
Start with that
little mustard seed of faith and you too can move your mountains.
Sweet Dreams! I love you all. :-)
I'm Happy you doing well, Praying for your continued success ! Hugs and with God your in the Best
