Taken New Year's Day - 01/01/16 - Looking outside over by the bird feeders in front on the house and what do I see? A heart had formed on top of one of the stones. I had this story idea right then and there.
One of the first
questions I asked Abba after I had accepted Christ Jesus as my Lord and Savior
was…If my soul is in my chest, then why is my head such a mess?
For me this was
something that had confused me for a long time.
When you listen to
people speaking regarding the soul, a lot of them will point to the heart that
is in our chests. How does that get to
why my head was such a mess? It didn't.
The answer was and
is because the heart of us, our soul, is in our heads.
Normal Vincent Peale
stated this very simply in The Amazing Results
of Positive Thinking, "The heart is only a muscle to pump
blood". A very powerful muscle if I
do say so myself. I like having blood
running through this body. It helps to
keep me alive.
Our soul, or our
true heart, is in our head.
That does explain
why my head was such a mess.
Understanding this
from that day forward has been an immense help to me.
The direction my
journey has taken since that day has been an incredible one.
Along the way, it
has been proven to me over and over again.
One proof that I
have witnessed for myself involved a video from National Geographic on fetal
development called "In the Womb".
In the full version of this video, they show the body of a fetus as it's
developing. Did you know that before the
brain, heart or anything else really appears there is blood coursing through
the fetus? That was awesome to witness.
What's there to make
that blood circulate?
That was all I
needed to be firmly convinced that our soul is in our head.
It's not visible to
our eyes.
Having this paradigm
in place changed the direction of my journey from that point forward.
With that in mind,
The 7 Habits of Highly Successful People, and my God given dreams waiting to be
achieved - among them raising Kelsey into a beautiful butterfly and
Independable, I had to take some time to make the changes I needed to make.
One of those changes
is to be able to write freely and without hindrance.
I know that when I
share what I believe not everyone will embrace it.
Some of those who
don't will throw their verbal sticks and stones. I had to grow so that I can see from other
people's perspectives and look past outward appearances to what is on the
inside or invisible to us.
What God shares with
us is meant to be shared with others.
You can't do that when you take things personally. We all are important and have a right to
express ourselves.
In the end, some of
my dumbest moves have lead to the most growth and emotional maturing.
Now I can share.
THAT IS AWESOME!
You are loved, you
are important...step out of the boat, God will meet you wherever you are.
Take Care and Sweet
Dreams. :-) XOXOXO
